Who is here

The educators at both settings.

Profiles go up one educator at a time, once each person has said yes to their name being here. A photograph is a separate yes again, and anyone without one gets their initial rather than a stock face.

Qualifications and ratios

What the regulations require.

These are the national minimums every Irish early years service works to. They are the floor rather than a description of our own staffing.

Minimum qualification

Every educator holds at least a Level 5 award in early learning and care. Room leaders hold Level 6.

Under one year

One adult to every three children in full day care.

One to two years

One adult to every five children.

Two to three years

One adult to every six children.

Three to six years

One adult to every eight children in full day care.

Our own staffing

[VERIFY our actual ratios and qualifications with Sharon. Nothing about our own staffing goes on this page until she confirms it.]

Figures quoted are the national minimums set out in the 2016 early years regulations. [VERIFY these against the current regulations before launch.]
