TheNursery
Full day care for the youngest children. Small numbers, familiar faces, and a day that moves at the pace of the child rather than the clock.
What a day looks like
Even the babies go out. The approach that runs through the whole setting is sized down here: shorter trips, more carrying, the same fresh air.
Small numbers, familiar faces
The Nursery is registered at The Granary as a full day care service for 25 children, so the same adults meet the same children every morning. [VERIFY drop-off times and the arrival routine]

Fresh air is part of every day, at any age
Shorter trips and more carrying, and the same weather the older children are out in. [VERIFY how long the youngest are outdoors and what the setting provides for them]

When they are needed, not when a timetable says so
Naps, bottles and stories run to the child. [VERIFY the daily routine, meals and nap arrangements with Sharon]

Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:30pm
Full day care, five days a week. [VERIFY hours and weeks open per year]

The Granary, and the ground around it.
The Nursery has its own rooms and its own doorway out. Both matter at this age: somewhere warm to come back to, and a way out that a one year old can manage without being carried through anybody else's day.

Ages, hours and how a place works.
Both settings are currently full. The list is for future years, and we tell families plainly where they stand on it rather than keeping them guessing.
